National Pivots

National Pivots (NPs) are key contributors to Platform operation, representatives of the different partner countries on the four platforms themes. They can be members of national public administrations, research institutions or stakeholders and preferably should come from organizations outside the partnership of the BLUEMED CSA. NPs are competent on their subject, experienced in participating in networks, clusters and/or international organizations and/or projects, active in private and/or public organizations, recognized and accepted as representatives of their National Communities at the highest possible level. Acting as main interface between the Consortium and the national stakeholders, they will contribute to increasingly mobilize other relevant national stakeholders by collect and convey their message and bring back the feedbacks. Their duties include the support of the meetings organization by acting as moderators at national level, the support of the prioritization process of the implementation plan, the networking at national level and assistance to consolidate the SRIA at Mediterranean level. In the case of National Pivots from EU non-partner countries and from non-EU countries, they will be appointed during the project, with the advice and support of the Union for the Mediterranean, following the proposal of countries and the approval of the Steering Committee.
